I orginally started blogging anonymously to kind of keep my day job separate from the blogging but that one was blown out of the water quite early on as the libdemblogs.co.uk link to me is under my name, but still I continued anyway, whether i will change now or not i don't know. And yes, I really am a neuroscientist who studies BMI's and works on the development of Neuroprosthetics. My main project is trying to predict how an animal walks just from its brain activity in order to then use that to drive a robot, so that the robot mimics what the animal is doing. Unfortunately I got through the first few people and then had to leave work suddenly so didn't get to actually post the post. Was expecting to come in this morning and find lots of messages from people asking who exactly the fuck I was! However, some people happily added me without obviously having the slightest clue who I was! Yep, sorry - I planned to add everybody yesterday and then dash out a quick blog post to give everyone the head’s up.
