Guido keeps his head, and his liberty

well, most of his liberty.

After being caught drink driving with no insurance last month the magistrate has given Paul:

  • A 3-month curfew order, applicable between the hours of 9pm-6am
  • An electronic tag
  • An 18-month supervision order, and
  • A 3-year driving ban

So, early nights and a bit more exercise for ol’ Guido. Might do him some good.

UPDATE: Tim Ireland has a nice little update of the proceedings

What exactly is a “supervision order”?

It seems to be a kind of probationary period where you have to adhere to certain rules although I can only find reference to it in terms of youth offending e.g. the child has to stay at home or in care, has to attend certain meetings. Seems to go together with the curfew. Any lawyers listening have a better idea?
